Kings Cliffe Residence Resort & Spa

The Kings Cliffe Residence Resort and Spa model apartment's interior design conforms to client specifications and established design principles. The contemporary minimalist style incorporates clean lines and a Mediterranean aesthetic. The overall ambiance of Reževići Village served as key inspiration, informing a timeless design that captures the spirit of the location. The design itself aims to create a warm, elegant, yet vibrant atmosphere reflective of the coastal setting and evocative of a powerful sense of place.

The neutral color palette of white, black, and beige, along with wooden tones and accents of olive green, enhances the feeling of exclusivity and complements the natural surroundings. The interior designers selected wood flooring to create a warm atmosphere. In keeping with minimalist principles, the walls are painted white, the ceilings are flat with built-in linear lighting, and the overall design avoids clutter, reflecting current interior design trends. Lighting, beyond the built-in linear fixtures, consists only of a chandelier above the dining table, leaving other areas uncluttered to maintain a sense of spaciousness and minimalist purity. Most of the furnishings are bespoke, ensuring a high degree of originality. Purchased pieces are selected to complement the minimalist aesthetic while providing superior occupant comfort.

Bathroom design leverages contrasting floor and wall tones (darker and lighter) to highlight the intended exclusivity. The bathroom features a double vanity and custom-designed elements; the toilet and shower are finished with mosaic tile. The bedroom design prioritizes the wardrobe and bathroom access. A concealed bedroom-to-bathroom doorway enhances the aesthetic unity of the wall while maintaining discreet access. Given this apartment's location within a tourist resort and its non-residential, seasonal nature, the partially open wardrobe design reflects its intended use. The integrated glass elements minimize visual impact, while floor-to-ceiling mirrors at the wardrobe’s end enhance the space's perceived comfort.
